Руководитель «Кэшбери» Артур Варданян заявил, что с 11 октября 2018 года компания заморозит выплаты своим вкладчикам сроком на три недели. Об этом он рассказал на YouTube-канале компании. Варданян пообещал возобновить вывод средств из личного кабинета с 1 ноября 2018 года и отчитываться о ходе восстановления компании каждый четверг.

По словам Варданяна, «Кэшбери» «переживает не лучшие времена», причиной которых стали «грязь и негатив» СМИ, а также «заказные» ролики на Youtube. Он также сообщил о блокировке банковских и биржевых счетов компании, а также шантаже партнёров «Кэшбери», отмене мероприятий и угрозах руководителям проекта. Из-за этого компания вынуждена уйти на трёхнедельные каникулы, чтобы восстановить заблокированные счета и начать выполнять финансовые обязательства перед инвесторами, пояснил он.
